Bomann Museum
The Boman-Museum is one of the most impressive an largest regional museum in nothern Germany. Its collecction emphasises the cultural history of Lower Saxony. Courtly cultural history is reflected on the Tansey Collection, one of the leading collections of miniatures in the world. The Eberhard Schlotter Foundation Celle presents contemporary art.

Residence Museum at the Ducal palace
The Ducal Palace of Celle with unique renaissance chapel , once the residence of the mighty Duchy of Luneburg, is the oldest building of the town with foundation walls dating from 1292.
On a guided tour visitors can view the ducal state chambers in early baroque style of the 17th century, which are unique in northern Germany, the oldest theatre in Germany still in use (to view only after rehearsals),a complete palace kitchen from the 18th century and the palace chapel with its completely preserved renaissance furnishings from the 16th century.

German Sampler Museum
The German Sampler Museum is world-wild the only specialised museum in which four hundred years of women’s history is documented through a forgotten everyday culture illustrated by embroidered samplers.

Otto Haesler Documentation Centre
Situated in the former community house of the Blumläger Feld dating from 1930-31. Shower and bath-rooms are exhibited as well as designs, photographs and models by the architect Otto Haesler. Two flats have been partially preserved in their original 1930s style.

Art Museum and Robert Simon Collection
Contemporary paintings, sculptures and luminous art in the “First 24-Hour Art Museum in the World”. The luminous art objects can be seen in the evening and at night from outside the building (5pm-10pm).
